Tonight, the first votes from the diaspora have arrived, with official vehicles transporting the voting packages from the diaspora crossing the Vermica border point.
The vehicles carrying the votes are being escorted by the Kosovo Police towards Pristina, specifically to the headquarters of the Central Election Commission (CEC), and will be monitored by security cameras.
The Central Election Commission has announced that the voting period via mail is still ongoing for all Kosovo citizens who registered as voters abroad and chose this voting method.
This information was shared by the CEC spokesperson, Valmir Elezi, who stated that the mail-in voting process will conclude on February 8.
A total of 104,924 voters have registered to vote from abroad.
