The Kosovo Basketball Superleague is entering its most thrilling moments as the playoff showdowns continue to deliver unmatched spectacle, drama, and adrenaline.
Trepça and Bashkimi have produced extraordinary matchups, and Wednesday promises yet another heated encounter. Currently, the “Miners” (Trepça) lead the series 2:1, and the first team to win four games will be crowned Kosovo’s basketball champion.
In the first final game, Bashkimi claimed victory 84:77, but Trepça equalized the series with a 79:72 win in Game 2. The third match in Prizren saw Mitrovica’s Trepça dominate with a convincing 71:88 win, reclaiming home-court advantage.
Trepça will now aim for a fourth win to get closer to defending their title, while Bashkimi seeks to tie the series 2:2 and regain the upper hand in the finals.
In the semifinals, Bashkimi eliminated Peja 3:1, while Trepça defeated Sigal Prishtina with the same score.
It’s worth noting that Trepça and Bashkimi also met in the Cup final this season, where Trepça emerged victorious. They also clinched the Supercup earlier in the year.
