The deepening humanitarian crisis in Gaza has prompted a strong joint response from France, the United Kingdom, and Germany, who issued a unified statement urging Israel to immediately facilitate humanitarian aid deliveries and respect international law.

“The humanitarian catastrophe we are witnessing in Gaza must stop immediately,” the statement reads, referencing warnings from the United Nations and NGOs about the growing threat of mass starvation in the besieged Palestinian enclave.

The three European governments called on Israel to lift restrictions on aid deliveries, emphasizing that “Israel has clear obligations under international humanitarian law that it must uphold.”

The statement further stresses that “the time has come to end the war in Gaza,” urging all parties to immediately cease hostilities and reach a ceasefire agreement.

Additionally, the joint declaration reiterates the call for the release of Israeli hostages and the disarmament of Hamas, while also strongly opposing any attempt to impose Israeli sovereignty over occupied Palestinian territories.

This reaction comes at a critical moment for the Middle East, as ongoing warfare and aid blockades have triggered an unprecedented humanitarian disaster in Gaza.
