The Kosovo Assembly has approved in principle the Draft Law on Social and Affordable Housing with 63 votes in favor, no votes against, and no abstentions.
The next step is the second reading of this Draft Law.
Regarding this law, Minister Liburn Aliu explained its main goal, stating that the law aims to cover the entire territory of Kosovo.
“The main objective is to create opportunities for social and affordable housing for the citizens of Kosovo, ensuring adequate living conditions for those in need. It is a crucial tool to assist families facing difficult economic conditions, ensuring they live in acceptable and affordable housing conditions,” said Aliu.
