The complaint targets the Chairperson and members of the Board of the Energy Regulatory Office (ZRRE), on the grounds of what OEK describes as “well-founded suspicion that they have committed criminal offenses.”
OEK accuses the ZRRE Board members of “failure to execute a court decision, abuse of official position or authority, violation of official duty, fraud in office, and harming the public economic interest.”
“This action follows OEK’s request to the ZRRE Board to reflect and begin implementing the Supreme Court’s ruling, with the aim of returning businesses that were forcibly removed from the regulated market back to regulated prices. However, the ZRRE Board has chosen to ignore and misinterpret this ruling, causing harm to businesses and citizens of Kosovo through the highest electricity bills in the history of the Republic,” OEK stated.
