According to an analysis published by The Kosovo Dispatch, espionage networks linked to Serbian intelligence aim to weaken the functioning of Kosovo’s state institutions.

Kosovo’s Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, emphasized that recent counter-espionage operations are the most coordinated since the end of the war.

Cases such as Aleksandar Vlajiq, Jelena Gjukanoviq, and Hysri Selimi point to infiltration into institutions, manipulation of public narratives, and influence on international perceptions of Kosovo.
