The Kosovo Security Force (KSF) has announced that it has certified the fifth group of trainees from Ukraine, who attended a six-week training course provided by instructors from the KSF’s Demining Company and American instructors from EUCOM.
As stated by the KSF, during these weeks, the trainees were trained in the identification of explosive devices, the use of specialized equipment, and work procedures on how to safely remove explosive devices.
“Deputy Commander of the Kosovo Security Force National Guard, Colonel Skender Hoxha, congratulated the trainees for completing the training and emphasized the importance of the training and the noble role of their mission,” reads the KSF statement.
It further states that the group of trainees will return to Ukraine to contribute to their units in the removal of unexploded ordnance and to reduce the risk for the Ukrainian people.
