For the 27th consecutive year, the torches were lit during the “Night of Fires” in the heroic Prekaz, to commemorate the struggle and sacrifice of the legendary KLA Commander, Adem Jashari, and the Jashari family, who fell for the freedom of Kosovo.
The lighting of the torches, symbolizing the spreading flame of freedom throughout the country, brought together hundreds of Albanian citizens once again this year.
This night encapsulates the three-day commemoration of the sacrifice and selflessness of the Jashari family, or the Epic of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
