Photographer Wade Goddard worked for the New York Times since 1998 and took pictures to tell the world about the massacre in Abri against the Deliu family.
He visited Kosovo after 23 years, where he met with the survivors. Goggard is overcome with emotion, expressing this even through tears.
The prime minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, wrote about it as he also posted a video on his Facebook profile.
“Wade Goddard, New York Times front page photographer returns to Kosovo after 23 years. In Abri, he meets survivors of the massacre which in 1998 he witnessed to the world with his photographs. Goddard talks about his work in documenting the events of the war in Kosovo, from the attack on the Jashari family in Prekaz, to the achievement of Kosovo’s freedom”, said Kurti.
