The Special Court for Corruption and Organized Crime (GJKKO) has decided that Erion Veliaj will remain in prison.
After a 6-hour session today, Judge Erion Bani issued a ruling on the security measure for the Mayor of Tirana, keeping the measure of “arrest with detention” in place and “obligation to appear” for Ajola Xoxa.
Meanwhile, the measures set for 5 businessmen are:
- “Arrest with detention” for Elman Abule
- “Obligation to appear” for Gentian Sula
- “Obligation to appear” for Meriman Kalushi
- “Obligation to appear” for Fatmir Bekteshi
- “Obligation to appear” for Shkëlqim Fusha
While awaiting the decision from GJKKO, the lawyers offered financial guarantees for Erion Veliaj and the measure of “obligation to appear” for Ajola Xoxa.
