Opening statements will be held tomorrow at the Specialist Chambers in The Hague for Hashim Thaçi, Bashkim Smakaj, Isni Kilaj, Fadil Fazliu, and Hajredin Kuçi, who are accused of obstruction of justice.
The hearing will start at 09:30 and conclude at 16:00. According to the indictment, Thaçi and the others allegedly provided confidential information about witnesses and instructed interference in their testimonies.
All five defendants have pleaded not guilty. Following the opening statements, the Prosecution will begin presenting its evidence.
