“I want to congratulate Kosovo. I know there will be a positive decision. Kosovo deserves it 100%. It’s a big moment for all of us. The free world must unite. Tyranny and empires want revenge. Putin wanted the Russian Empire. See what happened? See what he is doing in the Balkans, where Russia wants gasoline on the fire, and a big war. We want steps against this. Because where there is a gray area, it is dangerous. Kosovo should not be a gray area, but part of Europe. Because it is Europe. We must help.
I want to say to Serbia: We wanted to go with Serbia as a democracy, but you will never build a Serbian Empire. There is no more place for the Emperor
Maja Vukivecic, deputy of Montenegro, but coming from the part of the Serbs, said that Montenegro will vote for and against, so there is no unique vote.
For us Serbs, Kosovo is part of Serbia. My opinion is that they do not help the dialogue by admitting Kosovo to CoE. The fact is that the majority of the UN does not recognize Kosovo’s independence, and not even five countries recognize Kosovo.
Given these facts, we cannot say that it is not uncontested territory. It is necessary to know how this territory was won”.
