Photo from the Kosovo War: This is the Arrested Individual for War Crimes Against the Civilian Population in Malishevë
The Special Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kosovo conducted an operation resulting in the arrest and detention of a person on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “War Crime Against the Civilian Population,” sanctioned under the Penal Code of the former Yugoslavia.
It has been reported that the arrested individual is Srdjan Lazovic, approximately 48 years old, and a photo of him from the war period has been secured.
Lazovic is seen with a weapon in hand (the first person) in the village of Panorc in the Municipality of Malishevë, where he is suspected of committing war crimes against the civilian population.
By order of the Special Prosecutor’s Office, the suspect is under detention for 48 hours and will be brought before the Pre-Trial Judge within the legal deadline for further proceedings.
