As announced by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the Trump administration has begun revoking the visas of foreign nationals who expressed support for, or celebrated, the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
In a post on the platform “X,” Rubio stated:
“America will not accept foreigners who celebrate the death of our citizens!”
He added that those currently in the United States on a visa who publicly support the killing of a political figure should prepare for deportation.
Such measures had been signaled earlier, targeting individuals who glorify or trivialize Kirk’s murder, labeling them as “undesirable visitors” in the U.S.
This step is part of a broader administration policy to monitor the online activities of foreign nationals and to take action against those who promote violent or hateful ideologies.
Following Kirk’s murder on September 10, 2025, in Utah, some individuals expressed support for the act, prompting strong reactions from U.S. authorities.
Various companies and institutions, including Nasdaq and the law firm Perkins Coie, have dismissed employees over inappropriate comments related to Kirk’s killing.
