Three people have died following an explosion at the “Ecopartenope” company in Marcianise, in the province of Caserta, Italy.
According to initial reports from firefighters to Italian media, the explosion occurred during maintenance work at the waste treatment facility, A2 CNN reports.
Italian media also report that a fourth person is missing, while several firefighting teams have been dispatched to the scene.
The three victims were workers involved in the maintenance operations.
