Judoka Distria Krasniqi yesterday made us proud by winning the silver medal at the “Paris 2024” Olympic Games.
While today is the day of Akil, Nora Gjakova and Donjeta Sadiku.
Akili and Nora will compete in judo in their categories (matches start from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.).
Donjeta Sadiku competes in boxing (20:00 – 20:30).
On July 27, she scored her first victory in the -60 kilogram category, advancing to the second round of the competition. She will play her next match against the Colombian, Angie Valdes.
Until now, Kosovo has won three gold medals and all in the sport of judo.
Majlinda Kelmendi secured Kosovo’s first Olympic gold medal in Rio 2016. At the Tokyo Olympics, judokas Distria Krasniqi and Nora Gjakova secured two more gold medals for Kosovo.
