Toll Fees for the Llogara Tunnel Take Effect, Ranging from 100 to 5,000 Lek

The toll rates for the use of the Llogara Tunnel have officially come into effect, marking the completion of the process that enables users to start paying for road usage.

The decision was formalized through a Joint Instruction signed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, and Minister of Finance, Petrit Malaj.

The instruction, published in the Official Gazette, outlines five categories of vehicle tolls, with prices ranging from 100 to 5,000 lek, all inclusive of VAT.

Detailed Toll Scheme for the Llogara Tunnel

The payment structure is differentiated based on the type and size of the vehicle:

  • 100 Lek: Motorcycles and similar two-wheeled vehicles.
  • 250 Lek: Passenger cars and light delivery vehicles (two axles, height up to 1.30 meters).
  • 500 Lek: Passenger cars with trailers or caravans (more than two axles, height up to 1.30 meters).
  • 1,000 Lek: Vans, minibuses, and medium-sized vehicles (two or more axles, height over 1.30 meters).
  • 5,000 Lek: Heavy vehicles with three or more axles, such as buses and multi-trailer trucks (height over 1.30 meters).

Prepaid (subscription) tariffs for regular users will be determined six months after this instruction comes into force.
