The Kosovo national football team is set for one of its most important challenges tonight as it takes on Switzerland in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. The match will be played at St. Jakob-Park Stadium in Basel, drawing huge interest from fans across both nations.

Head coach Franco Foda expressed confidence during the pre-match press conference, following the team’s final training session.

“It is clear that we’ve had good performances in recent matches, but we must keep in mind that Switzerland is a strong opponent. Tomorrow we will take a different approach. Our goal is to achieve a positive result,” said Foda.

Striker Vedat Muriqi also shared his optimism, stressing the team’s determination:

“We are ready to give everything on the pitch and bring points back from Basel.”
