The Mayor of Prizren, Shaqir Totaj, today visited several families who benefited from the project “Roof Renovation for Social Categories and Families in Economic Hardship”, implemented by the Directorate of Labor and Social Welfare.
During his visit, Mayor Totaj emphasized the importance of this project in improving the lives of citizens in need.
“Ensuring safe shelter is a fundamental right. We will continue to stand by families who are most in need of support,” he stated.
So far, 73 families from both the city and villages of Prizren Municipality have benefited from this project. Beyond improving the infrastructure of their homes, the initiative has provided these families with a greater sense of safety and dignity.
“This project is only one of the steps we are taking to guarantee better living conditions for all our citizens, without exception,” Mayor Totaj added.
According to him, investments have reached both rural and urban areas, addressing many urgent needs. Now, in his second term, it is time for major projects.
