The Kosovo Police have reopened the Prizren–Prishtina highway after it was blocked earlier Wednesday afternoon due to a large fire.

Shaqir Bytyqi, the police spokesperson for the Prizren region, confirmed to Insajderi that traffic has resumed.

“The Prizren–Prishtina highway is now open and free for vehicle circulation,” Bytyqi said.

Earlier in the day, a truck reportedly caught fire completely, causing significant disruption to traffic. The blaze created a hazardous situation on the road, resulting in long vehicle queues near the Qafa e Duhlës section.
