A shocking incident unfolded at the popular Or Tor Kor market in Bangkok when an armed individual opened fire on the crowd, resulting in the deaths of six people, including the shooter.
According to Thai police, the assailant fatally shot four security guards working at the market and a woman before taking his own life. Two other women were injured and rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Surveillance footage captured scenes of panic as shoppers scrambled to escape the gunfire. In widely circulated videos, the armed man is seen running through a parking lot near the market entrance, pistol in hand.
Authorities are currently on-site investigating the motive behind the attack, which has deeply shocked the Thai public.
