A tragic incident occurred this afternoon in the Mat region of Albania.
A 22-year-old man drowned in a river near Shkopet, according to reports.
Top Channel reports that the young man was allegedly swimming in the river with some of his cousins when the incident happened.
Police sources confirmed that the victim’s body was recovered from the water by local residents and police authorities.
