A tragic event occurred in the early hours of this morning in Gjakova, where a person lost his life after his house was engulfed in flames.
The case was confirmed by the spokesperson for the Gjakova police, Sheremet Elezaj, who stated that the incident occurred on “Musa Zajmi” street.
According to reports, the person who tragically lost his life in this incident is A. Juniku, approximately 40 years old.
The police stated that upon receiving the information, police units and firefighters responded and managed to contain the fire.
However, during the intervention, a lifeless body of the victim was found inside the house.
The incident’s tragic scene was captured in images, showing the house engulfed in flames.
In consultation with the state prosecutor, the case has been initiated under the charge of “causing a general danger,” while the victim’s lifeless body will be sent for a forensic examination.
