The joint-stock company “Trepça” announced that it has regained control over all of its properties.
The property certificates were handed over today to the CEO of Trepça, Faton Ahmeti.
“A long-standing challenge has finally been resolved! For decades, Trepça’s properties were scattered under 273 different names, making it difficult to manage and develop them after the war,” the company’s official announcement states.
This return resulted in the transfer of ownership of 2,133 properties, covering an area of 12.6 square kilometers.
“For the first time since the war, a complete and detailed registry is being created for all properties in Kosovo. This is a crucial step towards transparency and strategic management of Trepça’s assets.
The process will continue to include other properties that have not yet been registered, ensuring a clear and comprehensive overview of all the company’s assets,” the announcement further stated.
