A new court hearing is scheduled today at the Basic Court of Prishtina regarding the armed terrorist attack in Banjska, located in the municipality of Zveçan.
Appearing before the court are Blagoje Spasojević, Vladimir Toliq, and Dušan Maksimović, who face serious charges related to their alleged involvement in the attacks of September 24, 2023.
During the attack, Afrim Bunjaku, a Kosovo Police sergeant hailed as a hero, was killed, while several other officers were injured.
The hearing is set to begin at 09:30, as judicial authorities continue proceedings in one of the most serious security cases in recent years in Kosovo.
The Banjska attack marked a major escalation of tensions in northern Kosovo and remains a focal point for both domestic justice efforts and broader regional stability concerns.
