The Basic Court in Pristina has scheduled February 16, 2026, as the date for the next hearing in the trial concerning the explosion at the Ibër-Lepenc canal in Varagë, Zubin Potok municipality.
This was confirmed by the court’s spokesperson, Mirlinda Gashi.
The attack involves charges against brothers Dragiša and Jovan Viqentijević, as well as Igor Dimović. During the initial hearing on December 24, 2025, the defense attorney of Jovan Viqentijević, lawyer Nebojša Vllajić, requested the disqualification of Prosecutor Kodraliu. This request was supported by the defense teams of the other defendants, leading to the interruption of the session.
The Kosovo Special Prosecution filed the indictment on December 9, 2025, against the three defendants for the attack carried out on November 29, 2024, on the Ibër-Lepenc canal in Varagë, Zubin Potok.
According to the indictment, on November 29, 2024, in the village of Varagë, Municipality of Zubin Potok, the defendants J.V. and D.V., together with several other still unidentified individuals, placed approximately 20 kilograms of trinitrotoluene (TNT) inside the “Ibër Lepenc” canal.
