U.S. President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump departed the United Kingdom aboard Air Force One, marking the end of Trump’s second state visit to the country.

During a joint press conference, Trump addressed several sensitive international and domestic topics. He suggested that UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer could consider deploying the military to manage the small migrant boat crisis, a contentious issue in British politics.

On the Ukraine war, Trump stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin “had disappointed him”, while Starmer emphasized that the U.S. and the UK are working together to pressure the Kremlin into accepting a peace agreement, according to BBC reports.

When asked about Starmer’s stance on recognizing a Palestinian state, Trump acknowledged a disagreement with the British prime minister, highlighting a notable difference between the two allies.

The visit included discussions on technology partnerships, international security, and global diplomacy, reinforcing the special relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom.
