With the meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin now over an hour long, details have emerged about the officials accompanying the two leaders in Alaska.

Russian Delegation

  • Yuri Ushakov: Putin’s foreign policy adviser and a former Russian ambassador to the U.S.
  • Sergey Lavrov: Russia’s long-serving Minister of Foreign Affairs since 2004.
  • Putin’s interpreter.

U.S. Delegation

  • Steve Witkoff: Trump’s special envoy for both the Middle East and Russia, a former real estate developer who has made numerous visits to Moscow.
  • Marco Rubio: The current U.S. Secretary of State and National Security Advisor, who formerly served as a senator from Florida and was once a vocal critic of Trump.

The initial talks are expected to be followed by a bilateral lunch.
