Former U.S. President Donald Trump stated that a peace agreement is “more than very close”, describing the moment as potentially one of the most important days in the history of civilization.
During a media statement, Trump said he is working closely with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to achieve peace in the Middle East.
“This is potentially one of the greatest days ever in civilization,” Trump emphasized.
However, he noted that acceptance by Hamas is not yet guaranteed.
“If accepted by Hamas, this agreement foresees the immediate release of all remaining hostages, but in no case later than 72 hours,” he added.
