U.S. President Donald Trump is in the process of firing thousands of White House staffers who do not align with his vision: “Make America Great Again.”
Using his social media platform, Truth Social, the newly inaugurated 47th President publicly dismissed several high-ranking officials in an unprecedented shake-up.
“Our first day in the White House isn’t over yet! My presidential staff office is actively identifying and removing over a thousand presidential appointees from the previous administration who do not align with our vision to make America great again.
Let this serve as an official dismissal notice for these 4 individuals, with many more to come soon.
Jose Andres from the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition, Mark Milley from the National Infrastructure Advisory Council, Brian Hook from the Wilson Center for Scholars, and Keisha Lance Bottoms from the President’s Export Council – you are dismissed!” the announcement reads, according to Top Channel.
The firing of General Milley comes after Joe Biden, 82, used his final moments in the Oval Office to offer full protection to the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, whom Trump had said deserved to be executed.
Chef Jose Andres, known for World Central Kitchen, which provides food during natural disasters, was seen earlier this month working alongside Prince Harry and Meghan during the LA fires.
Sources have revealed that, as part of a comprehensive move to reshape the U.S. diplomatic corps, Trump’s transition team has reportedly requested the resignation of over a dozen senior career diplomats.
