President Donald Trump described Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a “good man” and a hero in the fight, during an interview on the Mark Levin Show on Tuesday.
Trump commented that, while some call for Netanyahu to be prosecuted for war crimes, he personally views him as a war hero.
“He is a war hero because we worked together. He is a war hero. I think I am too. Nobody cares. But I am. I mean, I sent those planes,” Trump said.
When referring to “those planes,” Trump was speaking about airstrikes he ordered in late June against three major Iranian uranium enrichment facilities.
