U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he is canceling all documents signed by former President Joe Biden using an autopen—a device for automatic signature replication.
Trump claims that this applies to up to 92% of such documents and shared his statement on Truth Social.
In his characteristic message, Trump asserted that Joe Biden was not involved in the autopen process:
“Any document signed by Joe Biden via autopen, which is approximately 92% of them, is hereby canceled and has no further force or effect. The autopen cannot be used unless expressly authorized by the President of the United States. By this, I cancel all Executive Orders and anything else not signed directly by Joe Biden, because those operating the autopen did so illegally. Joe Biden was not involved in the autopen process, and if he claims otherwise, he will be accused of perjury,” Trump wrote.
