US President Donald Trump has openly challenged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, disputing Netanyahu’s claims that there is no hunger crisis in Gaza.

Speaking at a press conference in Scotland, where he met with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Trump was asked by reporters whether he supports Netanyahu’s statement dismissing reports of starvation in the region.

“Based on what I see on TV, I’d say I don’t particularly agree, because those kids look very hungry,” Trump told journalists.

He emphasized that “there are many hungry people in Gaza,” directly contradicting the official Israeli position and highlighting the severe humanitarian situation in the Palestinian territory.

Trump’s comments come as the humanitarian crisis in Gaza remains critical, with limited aid access and growing international concern over worsening living conditions.
