In a letter addressed to Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, U.S. President Donald Trump has made it clear that there are two months for a new nuclear agreement to be reached. Trump emphasized his desire to have greater control over Iran’s nuclear capabilities and to resolve the issue diplomatically, urging a quick resolution.

A spokesperson for the National Security Council stated, “President Trump made it clear to Ayatollah Khamenei that he seeks to resolve the nuclear program issue with Iran diplomatically — and very soon. If this is not possible, other methods will be pursued.”
