U.S. President Donald Trump presented a 21-point peace plan, saying that “people have liked it a lot,” while thanking Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for agreeing to it.

Trump stated that the plan was drafted in cooperation with many other countries, expressing gratitude to “leaders from Arab and Muslim nations” as well as key allies in Europe.

According to him, if Hamas accepts the plan, it includes the release of all hostages. Arab and Muslim states are said to be committed to “demilitarizing Gaza” as quickly as possible.

The plan also envisions the destruction of Hamas’s tunnels and production centers, the training of local police forces, and the gradual withdrawal of the Israeli army from Gaza in several stages.

“The threat from Hamas will be destroyed,” Trump declared, reaffirming his support for Netanyahu “to do what needs to be done.”

He emphasized that many Palestinians want to live in peace but must “take responsibility for their own future.”

“Palestinians have had a difficult life under Hamas. But if they don’t agree to this plan, they will have no one to blame but themselves,” Trump said.

Calling the proposal “extremely fair,” Trump stressed that while building peace will not be easy, many lives are at stake, and it is worth the effort.

As for implementation, Trump said a “peace board” would be established, which he himself would oversee. Former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair and other world leaders would also participate in the process.
