U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has announced the appointment of Nicole McGraw, a renowned artist, philanthropist, and businesswoman, as the next U.S. Ambassador to Croatia.
In a post on his social media platform, Truth, Trump praised McGraw for her outstanding contributions to the art world and her philanthropic efforts. “Nicole is a world-famous philanthropist, businesswoman, and art collector. She opened her first art gallery in Palm Beach Gardens in 2006 and has since built a global client base along with a successful art investment fund specializing in fine arts,” Trump stated.
McGraw’s charitable work has also made an impact, particularly in the field of children’s welfare. As a board member of the Place of Hope, she has helped raise millions of dollars for neglected and abused children. In addition, McGraw has led the CANVAS Art charity organization, further demonstrating her commitment to using art for social good.
She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art History and Studio Art from Southern Methodist University.
Trump’s choice of McGraw highlights her extensive experience in both the art world and philanthropy, setting the stage for her to represent U.S. interests in Croatia.
