While a major military parade was underway in Beijing showcasing China’s newest weapons, U.S. President Donald Trump published a message on his platform Truth Social, directly addressing Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, who were together at the event.
Trump’s Message During Beijing Parade
“The big question is whether President Xi will mention the enormous support and bloodshed that the United States of America gave China to help secure FREEDOM from a very hostile foreign invader. Many Americans died in China’s struggle for Victory and Glory. I hope they will be honored and remembered properly for their courage and sacrifice,” Trump wrote.
He added:
“President Xi and the wonderful people of China, may you have a beautiful celebration. Please pass along my warmest greetings to Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un, as you plot against the United States of America.”
The post came as Xi Jinping addressed 26 world leaders, including Putin and Kim, declaring that China is “unstoppable” and “unafraid.” The parade was also used to unveil a new generation of weaponry, including nuclear missiles, laser systems, and naval drones.
