President Donald Trump has signed a “Major Disaster Declaration for Texas,” aiming to provide essential support to the state reeling from devastating floods.

“Unimaginable Tragedy” and Federal Support

In a statement on “Truth Social,” Trump described the events and the suffering of the victims’ families and those missing as an “unimaginable tragedy.” The U.S. President assured that his administration is continuing to work closely with state and local leaders to assist the people of Texas.

“Our U.S. Coast Guard, along with State First Responders, have rescued more than 850 lives,” Trump stated, concluding his message with: “God bless the families and God bless Texas!”
