U.S. President Donald Trump is scheduled to speak with his Polish counterpart, Karol Nawrocki, on Wednesday following the recent Russian drone incursion into Polish airspace, a White House official confirmed.
According to Polish authorities, the country’s air defenses shot down three to four Russian drones that violated its airspace. Warsaw stated that a total of 19 Russian drones entered Polish territory on September 10.
The official also noted that Trump and the White House are closely monitoring reports on the situation in Poland.
