U.S. President Donald Trump delivered a strong speech at the Gulf Cooperation Council in Riyadh, where he sent clear messages regarding the region, Iran, and American policy.
“Many are looking at us with envy,” said Trump, adding that “extraordinary deals are within reach for this region.”
In his speech, Trump emphasized that he wants a deal with Iran, but only under certain clear conditions.
“Tehran must stop supporting terrorism,” and “must never possess a nuclear weapon,” he declared.
Trump also did not spare criticism for the current administration in Washington, accusing President Joe Biden of the country’s situation.
“Chaos created by incompetence,” he said about Biden’s governance.
He added further that “the people at the table know very well where my loyalty stands.”
