U.S. President Donald Trump has once again reacted following Israel’s latest strike on Iran, calling on Tehran to reach a deal with the United States to avoid “total destruction.” In a social media post, Trump emphasized that he has given Iran many chances to make a deal, but they failed to seize them.

“I gave Iran opportunity after opportunity to make a deal. I told them in the strongest words: ‘Just do it.’ But no matter how hard they tried, no matter how close they got, they couldn’t do it,” Trump wrote in a Twitter post.

Trump continued with a stern warning that the punishment for Iran could be far more severe than they expected.

“I warned them it would be far worse than they ever imagined, expected, or were told. The United States produces the best and deadliest military equipment in the world—without competition—and Israel has a lot of it, with more on the way. And they know how to use it,” he declared.

The American president warned that upcoming strikes could be even more brutal. “Some Iranian hardliners spoke boldly, but they didn’t know what awaited them. Now they are all dead, and the situation will only worsen. There have already been many deaths and destruction, but there’s still time to stop this massacre. The next strikes are planned to be even more brutal,” he said.

Trump made a strong appeal for a deal as soon as possible:
“Iran must make a deal before there’s nothing left. Save what was once known as the Persian Empire. Enough with the death, enough with the destruction. Just do it before it’s too late.”

In this context, Trump appears to be calling for a diplomatic solution, but warns that time is running out and the consequences could be fatal for Iran if an agreement is not reached.
