Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called for tougher sanctions against Russia, a stance that appears to be gaining support from former U.S. President Donald Trump, reports Gazeta Sinjali.

Trump expressed his readiness to back stronger sanctions to pressure Vladimir Putin, stating, “We will see what happens – this will be crushing for Russia,” according to SkyNews.

Meanwhile, Russia and Ukraine have agreed on a prisoner exchange involving 1,000 prisoners from each side. If carried out, this would mark the largest prisoner swap in over three years since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine began in February 2022.
