U.S. President Donald Trump has urged Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky not to withdraw from the agreement regarding the exploitation of rare earth minerals in Ukraine.
Trump warned that such a withdrawal could bring “big problems” for Ukraine.
The agreement stipulates that the U.S. would receive 50% of the revenue from the exploitation of these natural resources, which are crucial for modern technology.
Zelensky has expressed concerns about the terms of the deal, considering it to be incompatible with Ukraine’s national interests.
