U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the coming weeks will determine whether progress has been achieved toward ending Russia’s war in Ukraine.
“I think President Putin also wants to find an answer, and we will see,” Trump said.
“In a certain period of time, not too far from now—one or two weeks—we will know whether we are going to resolve this or if this terrible war will continue,” he emphasized.
Following the public portion of their meeting, Trump held a private discussion with European leaders and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
