Turbidity in the “Ibër-Lepenc” Canal Causes Water Supply Reductions in Obiliq, Fushë Kosovë, and Kalabria Neighborhood in Prishtinë

The Regional Water Utility “Prishtina” has announced that due to high turbidity in the Ibër-Lepenc canal, the Water Treatment Plant (ITU) in Shkabaj has gone out of service.

As a result, water supply reductions are expected in Fushë Kosovë, Obiliq, and part of the Kalabria neighborhood in Prishtinë.

Affected areas will receive water between 18:00 and 22:00.

NOTICE ON WATER SUPPLY

Dear consumers,

Due to high turbidity in the Ibër-Lepenc canal caused by heavy rainfall, the ITU Shkabaj is currently out of service.

Consequently, water supply reductions are expected in the following areas:

  • Fushë Kosovë
  • Obiliq
  • Part of the Kalabria neighborhood – Prishtinë

The above areas will be supplied with water from 18:00 to 22:00. Other areas in the capital may also be affected.

Our teams are on the ground and continuously monitoring the situation. Water supply will resume as soon as the parameters stabilize.

At ITU Albanik and Badoc, water is being treated at maximum capacity.
