Turkey has sent dozens of search-and-rescue specialists to assist in locating bodies trapped under the rubble in Gaza, following the recent destruction across the territory.

The Gaza Civil Defense Agency reported that the remains of approximately 10,000 people may still be under collapsed buildings. Rescue efforts are expected to be long and arduous, given the widespread devastation throughout the region.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump warned Hamas after reports emerged of recent killings, described as apparent executions of several Palestinians. Trump characterized the acts as violations of the ceasefire, according to The Guardian.

Under the ceasefire agreement, the return of hostages is a key component. Hamas stated that it has returned all hostages it was able to recover, though the whereabouts of 19 others remain unknown, believed to still be trapped under rubble.

Hamas emphasized its commitment to the ceasefire and pledged to recover the remaining bodies, but acknowledged that the process will take time due to the extensive destruction.
