Turkey has taken a crucial lead against Kosovo in their decisive World Cup qualification clash, with Kerem Aktürkoğlu finding the net early in the second half.
The breakthrough came in the 53rd minute, when Aktürkoğlu capitalized on a loose ball inside the penalty area, finishing from close range to make it 0–1 in favor of Turkey.
The goal arrived despite a strong showing from Kosovo, particularly toward the end of the first half, where the home side created several promising chances but failed to convert them.
With this result, Turkey moves into a the qualification for the World Cup.
