Two Albanians from North Macedonia Die in a Traffic Accident in Serbia

A man and a woman of Albanian origin from North Macedonia have died in a traffic accident on the Belgrade–Niš motorway in Serbia. According to Serbian media reports, another person who was in the vehicle has been transported to hospital in critical condition.

According to unofficial information, the accident occurred when a car with German license plates, under circumstances that remain unclear, left the roadway. It is suspected that the driver lost control of the vehicle, struck a protective barrier and a traffic sign near the road. The man and woman who were in the car died at the scene.

Telegraf.rs reports that emergency services confirmed the deaths of the victims, while the third passenger, who was also in the vehicle, was taken to the nearest medical center with severe injuries.

The victims were citizens of North Macedonia of Albanian origin. It is presumed that they were traveling in transit through Serbia. Police are continuing their investigation to determine all the circumstances of the accident and the causes of the tragedy.
