With only two days remaining before the snap parliamentary elections, hopes remain high for breaking Kosovo’s prolonged political deadlock.

In this context, President Vjosa Osmani will meet today with members of the Kosovo diaspora who have recently arrived in the country.

According to the Presidency, Osmani decided to host the reception just two days before the elections, welcoming diaspora members at an official event scheduled for 18:00 at the Emerald Hotel.

The Presidency stated that the event is being organized “as a sign of gratitude and appreciation for the diaspora’s continuous contribution to the development and strengthening of the state of Kosovo.”

The diaspora has traditionally played a significant role in Kosovo’s political, economic, and social life, including participation in elections and support for institutional stability.
