Following Albania’s victory over Serbia in Leskovac, just one day later another major success came. Kosovo defeated Sweden 0–1 in the World Cup qualifiers, moving even closer to the Play-Off dream. Asllani celebrated with the Albanian eagle gesture, just like Rey Manaj.
The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, posted on social media to congratulate both teams: “Two heads, two victories, one eagle #ForcaKosovë,” wrote the head of the government.
